REDEMOS Webinar: Azerbaijan’s Descent into Full-blown Dictatorship in the face of Growing Anti-Western Rhetoric

The REDEMOS Webinar series returns on 28 November 2024 at 16.00 CET with a vital discussion entitled “Azerbaijan’s Descent into Full-blown Dictatorship in the face of Growing Anti-Western Rhetoric”.

 This REDEMOS webinar will focus on Azerbaijan’s domestic political and human rights-related developments in the context of the Aliyev regime’s increasingly dictatorial rule. We are delighted to welcome Dr. Eske van Gils, Assistant Professor of International Relations at the University of Groningen working on EU-Azerbaijan relations, as well as Arzu Geybulla, Journalist and Founder of Azerbaijan Internet Watch, advocating for democracy and human rights in Azerbaijan. Moderation will be led by Dr. Madalina Dobrescu, Principal Investigator for REDEMOS, Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU.
