Just days after Moldova’s parliamentary elections on 28 September, this timely discussion will address a crucial moment shaping Moldova’s political landscape, and its impact on democratic development in the wider region.
This webinar brings together leading voices on Moldova’s democratic trajectory: Iulian Groza, Executive Director of the Institute for European Policies and Reforms (IPRE), and Paula Erizanu, journalist and author. The discussion will unpack what’s at stake as Moldova comes out from the pivotal vote, balancing reform and rule of law with the pressures of disinformation, oligarchic influence, and Russia’s shadow. The conversation will be moderated by Madalina Dobrescu, principal investigator of the REDEMOS project.
